Our Story

Dharmasena Yakandawela is the founder and the Chairman of YLD Law Corporation. He is originally from Sri Lanka who first graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. has served as a District Judge and Magistrate and senior lawyer for over 13 years. He migrated to Canada in 2006 with his seven year and four year old two children and his wife Shirani. He started his carrier in serving in the 7 Eleven convenient store at Lansdowne drive, Coquitlam as a sales associate. After a short period of time at 7- Eleven, he started his carrier study at the University of British Columbia to be certified as a Canadian Immigration Consultant. He was a certified immigration He is a life member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia.

Dharmasena currently practices in the immigration law and general law areas. Yakandawela is a Graduate from the Faculty of Law from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
